Construction of the Small Diameter Water Main Replacement Project - Phase Iii at Which Time and Place They Will Be Publicly Opened and Read. A Summary of the Work Items is Included Below: 1. Associated Appurtenances and Fittings the Work of Constructing the Project Will Be Let Under One Contract if an Award Should Be Made; and the Owner Reserves the Right to Select the Bid Considered by the Owner to Be in the Best Interest of the Owner. The Work included in this Contract generally consists of the installation of high density polyethylene (HDPE) water mains 3-inches in diameter, DR11. Additional work items include connections to existing meters, connections to the existing system and additional miscellaneous appurtenances. Five (5) water main replacements in various areas of Gadsden, AL A Cashier's Check or Bid Bond Payable to the Water Works and Sewer Board of Gadsden in an Amount Not Less Than Five (5) Percent of the Amount of the Bid, but in No Event More Than $10,000, Must Accompany the Bidder's Proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and Evidence of Insurance Required in the Bid Documents Will Be Required at the Signing of the Contract. Bids Must Be Submitted on Proposal Forms Furnished by the Engineer.
