Materials and construction requirements shall meet the Alabama Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, Latest Edition. Materials and construction requirement shall meet the Alabama Department of Transportation and Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, Latest Edition. It shall be the bidder's responsibility to possess all proper County, State, and Federal license and to familiarize himself with and shall comply with all Federal, State and Local laws, ordinances, and regulations. FOB materials to be purchased and loaded onto county trucks, are to be available between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday except holidays. The amount to be purchased at any given time will vary. FOB material transportation costs from the various plants in Etowah County trucks will be considered in arriving at the overall low cost in a determination of which plant to use. Etowah County will use a price of $0.15 per mile/ton to determining the actual low cost. Mileage will be one way from plant to the Etowah County site or sites of choice.
