Engineering and Project Management Professional Services for the Commuter Rail New Locomotive Project. The Scope of Service(s) may include but are not limited to: vehicle specification development; vehicle builder selection RFP support; assessment of existing Commuter Rail infrastructure; design reviews, tests, and inspections; project management; configuration management; administration of warranty. The scope of services will be authorized on a task order basis by phase. The estimated total budget for this program will be provided during the negotiation process, after the receipt of the proposals. The estimated duration of this contract will be seven (7) years. This project is expected to utilize Federal and Future Federal funding. DBE participation goal for this project is 22% of the total amount authorized. In addition, the Authority strongly encourages the use of Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as prime consultants, sub-consultants and suppliers in all of its contracting opportunities.
