Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Homewood, Alabama. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for outdoor lighting for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This project is CANCELLED. The City anticipates re-bidding in April 2026 and will follow the same process. Scope of Work: The Project Scope Includes Landscape, Hardscape, Irrigation, Electrical, and Concrete Work to Be Constructed at the Underpass at Oxmoor Road and Us Highway 31. Construction of the Improvements Will Require Stone Veneer, Fencing, Columns, Etc. Payment for Plans is the Responsibility of the Contractor. The Owner Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informality or to Reject Any or All Bids. Each Bidder Must Deposit With His/her Bid Security in the Amount, Form, and Subject to the Conditions Provided in the Information for Bidders. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Submit 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. All Bidders Must Comply With the Requirements of the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and Be Certified for the Type of Work for Which a Proposal is Submitted. The Submission of the Bidder's Current State of Alabama License Number Will Be Required Before His/her Bid Will Be Received or Considered and Shall Be Written on the Outside of the Envelope in Which Bid is Submitted. No Bidder May Withdraw His/her Bid Within 60 Days After the Actual Date of the Opening Thereof.
