Renovation of a medical facility in Union Grove, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

All bids received from contractors who are not certified will be rejected. 20 Contractor certification applications and instructions for completing the form may be obtained from the 21 DOA Website DFD Contractor Certification page. This project is being let using the single prime bidding and contracting process. DFD will publicly bid the 26 applicable mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEP) divisions of work first. Within 5 27 days of the MEP bid opening, DFD will identify a lowest, qualified, responsible, certified bidder in each 28 applicable MEP division of work. These successful MEP bids must be included in all general prime 29 contractor bids received. No later than 5 days after DFD identifies the successful MEP bids, DFD will 30 publicly open general prime contractor bids. General prime contractor bids that do not include the 31 successful MEP bids will be rejected. The state will enter into a single contract with the lowest, qualified, 32 responsible, certified general prime contractor and this general prime contractor will enter into subcontracts 33 with the successful MEP bidders. If a project does not include any mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or fire 34 protection divisions of work, DFD will bid one bid package for all work to general prime contractors. The bidder is responsible for the sealed bid being delivered to the indicated location or submitted via the 47 eBuilder Bid Portal before the time specified for the bid submission. Third party delivery is entirely at the 48 bidder's risk. In general, the work consists of: two existing elevators in Building 7 (which is called Building 5 in the 2 original 1951 drawings) of the Southern Wisconsin Center in Union Grove, Wisconsin. 3 The building is a three-story building with a basement, first floor, and an attic space above the north 4 elevator shaft. 5 6 The north elevator, (elevator #1), and all equipment will be demolished and replaced, while the south 7 elevator, (elevator #2), will be demolished and decommissioned. The hydraulic jacks on both elevators will 8 be removed. The bore holes will be cleaned out, filled with Bentonite and capped with concrete. 9 10 The fire rating of the existing hoistway walls will be brought up to current code requirements by adding a 11 2-hour fire-resistance rated shaft wall assembly. The structure and floor slab at the top of the existing 12 hoistway will also be brought up to current fire rating requirements by adding a fire-rated cap. The attic 13 floor steel joists at the top of the hoistway will also be fire rated to code requirements. 14 15 Note: The separate DFD project #23H3I, also in this building, will provide fire suppression for the north 16 elevator hoistway and the new machine room, it will also provide a new electrical panel which will provide 17 electrical power to the new elevator. Some construction coordination between the two projects will be 18 required. Additional project bidding 23 information, including plan holders lists are available on the Division of Facilities Development public 24 website. Bid submissions will occur in a 25 unique bid portal link available in each bid advertisement. After opening the bid portal link, confirm your 26 company and contact details, then click save.. No deposit is required to obtain documents for bidding 27 purposes. Base Bid will be received for: A single lump sum bid for All Work. Contract offer and construction phase records will be processed electronically via eBuilder. 34 35 The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing 36 wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building 37 projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 38 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. Please contact John D. Lind, 262-878-6620, 42 JohnD.Lind@dhs.wisconsin.gov for additional information. Bidding Documents will be available online immediately upon the project being advertised for bid. Custom Bid Results Plumbing - Mechanical Butters Fetting Co., Inc. - $33,872.00 Electrical -
