North Highland Park Improvements 122 Cone Street, Prattville, AL 36067 A summary of the work items is included below: Improvement of existing basketball facilities, retaining walls, access features, rigid structure for full court cover, fencing and site grading/landscaping. The work of constructing the project will be let under one Contract if an award should be made; and the Owner reserves the right to select the Bid considered by the Owner to be in the best interest of the Owner. A certified check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Prattville, Alabama, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00, must accompany each of the bidder's separate sealed proposal. Check or bid bond shall be provided as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within fourteen (14) days after notice of award of Contract to them. The successful bidder will be required to submit 100% performance bond and a 50% payment bond. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Alabama to act as surety. Contractors are required to apply for all permits (City of Prattville local permit fees will be waived). Each bidder must be licensed as a Contractor in the State of Alabama in accordance with provisions of Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended, and must submit with this bid satisfactory evidence of such license. Northington Street, Prattville, AL 36067, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud at said location. The Work included in this Contract generally consists of improvements to the basketball court area and access points of North Highland Park in Prattville, Alabama. The requirements of this Section and Division 1 apply to all of the Contract Documents.
