Reference number: 20077706 Deadline for receipt of complaints 2025-06-27 Electronic tender submission accepted Yes, via SEAO, with a document Expected duration of the contract without options (in months) 3 The Universite du Quebec a Montreal, hereinafter referred to as the Owner, having its head office at 1430, rue Saint-Denis, H2X 3J8, Montreal, Quebec, is seeking tenders to convert part of the lobby of the UQAM sports centre into a sports clinic and physical activity research centre. The central element of the redevelopment is the installation of a piece of physical activity equipment called 1080 Quantum and an associated screen. The space will also include two desks with computers for in-depth movement analysis. The architectural work includes, but is not limited to: demolition of existing partitions and suspended ceilings, construction of new walls (slab to slab), new glass partitions, a new glass door, a new floor finish, painting of the walls, painting of the ceiling slab and installation of integrated furniture. The electromechanical work included, but was not limited to, the following: changes to ventilation ducts, changes to sprinklers, new lighting and other electrical work. The Contract also includes the recovery and reinstallation of certain existing equipment. The Contractor shall consider that users and occupants of the building will continue their activities during the work. The Contractor shall act in such a way as to minimise inconvenience to users and staff. Similarly, the external courtyard, parking area, access, etc., will also continue to be used throughout the duration of the work. The Contractor shall ensure that users have access to the premises and facilities in a safe, healthy and uninterrupted environment. This includes all fitting-out work, all demolition, protection, patching and other work required to complete the Work and all related work such as: site preparation and cleaning, temporary protection work, repairs and modifications to existing interior fitting-out work. All jointing, repair and drilling work required for the work hereunder is included. The Contractor shall be entirely responsible for controlling access to the site. In situations where the Contractor has to carry out work elsewhere in the building or where he has to shut down electromechanical services, he will do so outside the normal hours of occupation by users, in accordance with the Owner's authorisations.
