Clarifications will only be made in writing by the Contracting Officer. Interpretation of Contract Documents: No interpretation or change of the specifications will be made orally to any proposer. Requests for interpretation shall be made to the Commission at least five (5) business days prior to the proposal due date. All interpretations requested by that date will be issued in the form of a written addendum to all prospective proposers. All such addenda shall become part of the proposal documents and shall be incorporated in all proposals. No questions will be answered on the day of the proposal opening This specification establishes the standards for flooring installation services. The work to be done under these Specifications shall include the furnishing of all supervision, labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the provision of services specified herein. Work shall be performed in a satisfactory manner under the direction, and to the satisfaction, of the Commission Property Manager, Maintenance Coordinator, or designee on a case by case basis as needed. All task orders shall be approved in writing by the Commission and the Contractor and will include the scope, cost and time to complete each task order. The flooring work shall consist of but not be limited to the installation of carpet tile, wall to wall carpet, vinyl plank, vinyl composition tile, sheet vinyl, cove base, MDF baseboard, vinyl stair treads, and wood stair treads. Contractor shall remove and reinstall toilets, doors, closet doors, and other ancillary items as needed to perform flooring work. Contractor shall obtain and pay for all required City permits and inspections required under the contract. In the event of conflict between applicable codes and regulations and the requirements of these plans and specifications, the provisions of the more stringent shall apply. Site must be cleaned by the Contractor on each day of work and shall be free of debris upon completion of each day's work during the term of the Agreement.
