The Crystal Lakes Work Center is located in the Pike-San Isabel National Forests & Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands in the Leadville Ranger District. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, transportation and all other required taks to install a new waterline in order to provide the Work Center with potable and drinking water from a second source with higher quality water all in accordance with the Statement of Work, drawings, and aplicable specifications. The work generally consists of the following: Perform all requirements (including producing a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE)) to attair a permit from the Colorado Department of Transportation to bore a 2-inch HDPE (SDR-11) waterline under Colorado HWY 24.
