The Harry S. Truman College - Chicago, is a 5-building facility established in 1975. The Truman College Phase I Building (JC04A) is a 437,500 square foot, 3-story building established in 1975. The scope of work provides for replacing the roofing system and all attendant accessories. The work also includes the removal of the rooftop generator and installing a new generator at grade level. The work includes a new pad, screening, and a new connection to the building for the generator. The building will remain occupied and in full operation during the scope of work. The project involves taking rooftop mechanical equipment temporarily out of service to perform the roof replacement and will include detailed sequencing and may require up to 480 days to complete to maintain operation of the college throughout construction.
