The Work consists of the modernization of two (2) traction passenger elevators including the removal and replacement of elevator components. Scope of the work includes all administrative work as outlined in Division 01 General Requirements and the following using materials noted on Drawings and Specifications, including: Replacement of elevator cab finishes, demolition of existing elevators motors and controls, replacement of car and hall signals and fixtures, replacement of car interior, anti-graffiti film, signage replacement, closed-loop door operator, door operating equipment, infra-red door protection, entrance frames and doors, replacement of geared machines to gearless, associated electrical for LED light kit, lighting upgrades at elevator machine room and pits, upgrade conduit and wiring and low voltage, structural steel, joint sealants, painting, electrical power, conductors, fuses, switches and circuit breakers. Perform all work required to complete the elevator modernization indicated by the Contract Documents and furnish all supplementary items necessary to completely modernize the existing elevators.
