The Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), invites you to submit a bid for the construction of Grand Island Substation, Stage 08 in Nebraska and Sioux Falls Substation, Stage 15, in South Dakota under Invitation for Bids (IFB) Solicitation No. 89503425BWA000061. The price range for this work is between $1,000,000.00 to $5,000.000.00. This letter is not an integral part of the IFB which is a self-contained stand-alone document. In the event of any conflict between the contents of this letter and the enclosed IFB, the IFB language shall prevail. This solicitation is issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This IFB consists of Section A, Standard Form (SF) 1442 and Sections B, C, and E through M, including Attachments A, B, C, D, E, and F as listed in Section J. This solicitation, specifications, drawings, and General Decisions and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet at https://sam.gov/content/home . No plan holders list, CDs, or hard copies will be furnished. Bid prices are to be shown in Section B and bidders are advised to inspect Sections F, G, H, K, L, and M for other information that may be required.
