Site work for a water / sewer project in Pelham, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of August 7, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The bid is comprised of the following principal items and approximate quantities: Replacement of nine existing aeration blowers ranging in size from 20 horsepower to 75 horsepower. This includes blower enclosures, appurtenances, and associated work. Replacement and/or modifications to concrete blower pads is required for some blowers. A Pre-Bid conference for prospective BIDDERS will not be held. It shall be the responsibility of the bidders to have a thorough understanding of the plans, specifications, and other contract documents and to include all costs in their bids for fully complying with all requirements. All Bidders must be responsible, meeting the criteria and requirements set forth in the specification documents. Prequalification of Bidders is not required. This project is considered a "Public Works" project and is governed by competitive bid laws as contained in Title 39 of the Alabama Code. Bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, and Bond Agents should be familiar with this code. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty days from the date set for receiving of the same. There will not be a Pre-Bid Conference for this Project. This project is governed by the applicable bid laws and practices of the State of Alabama.
