As of August 6, 2025 this project was awarded to Robinson Taylor Industries LLC in the amount of $47,293.20 This Contract, if awarded, isto provide routine periodic maintenance of air ventilation systemsin DFW Airport's Indoor Gun Range. Personnel will be required to conduct periodic replacement of specific HVAC filters designed to collect lead dust generated during training activities and yearly calibration of the magnahelic gauges on the HVAC system. There are building automation sensors on the building that will alarm at a preset threshold to give the team advanced notice of filter loading. Personnel performing this task shall be competent in the areas of indoor air quality, environmental cleaning, health and safety standards, and management/clean-up of hazardous materials. Improper maintenance of ventilation systems may result in inadequate air filtration inside the indoor range which may lead to poor indoor air quality or increased levels of lead particulate. Other significant consequences of improper handling of air filters during replacement is the unpermitted release of lead dust to exterior environments and overexposure of lead particulates to maintenance personnel. The scope of services shall be to provide on-call services for the proper removal of select filters and replacement with new air filters provided by the contractor.
