The cone of silence will be imposed on all Competitive Selection Processes beginning with advertisement for the same and ending with the Board's selection for RFQs, RFPs or the Board's award for a RFB. These odors are then picked up by the existing exhaust system and discharged near the main terminal entrance, negatively affecting customer experience. This project will implement the following approach to eliminate the odors at the source and prevent them from reaching public areas: Source Filtration and Air Treatment o Install new fans and filtration racks at each lift station. o This phase focuses on removing odors directly at the source. Exhaust Rerouting o Redirect the existing exhaust away from the main entrance to discharge at the sides of the terminal. o Involves installing new ductwork and booster fans to relocate the exhaust air path. o Involves modification of existing fire protection system to ensure code compliance. BAS Integration and Control o Tie new booster fans into the existing Terminal D Building Automation System (BAS). o Integrate the existing exhaust fans into the Terminal D BAS to ensure centralized control and monitoring.
