Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bolton Valley, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Bolton is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for resurfacing work on a one-mile section of the Bolton Valley Access Road, beginning at the intersection with US Route 2. The project includes reclaiming and fine grading the roadway, followed by machine paving with a 2.5" binder course and 1.5" wearing course, and associated surface preparations, striping, and traUic control. All work must conform to the Vermont Agency of Transportation's 2018 Standard Specifications. The contract will conclude no later than October 31, 2025. Site visits and questions must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 16, 2025. Work to begin July 28, 2025. Work must be completed no later than September 29, 2025 Bidders must conform to price adjustment clauses for diesel fuel, gasoline, liquid asphalt, Portland cement concrete, structural steel and reinforcing steel.
