This Contract covers the supply and installation of two (2) glass-fused bolted biosolids storage tanks, including their superstructures, in accordance with the project drawings and specifications. Upon written direction from the Owner, this Contract will be novated to a General Contractor, who is anticipated to be appointed at a later date. The General Contractor will be responsible for preparing the site prior to tank installation and overseeing the work of the tank supplier. Under this arrangement, the General Contractor will assume all rights, responsibilities, and liabilities associated with the Owner's existing supply agreement (the "Tank Supply Order") . Question Deadline 07/09/2025 at 2:00 PM ET Site Walkthrough Event Note that attendance at this site visit is voluntary and suppliers may submit a bid regardless of their attendance at the pre-bid meeting. Should there be unforeseen circumstances such as forecasted inclement weather or operational emergencies, an alternate non-mandatory site meeting date, at the same meeting location will be organized. Should the alternate date be invoked, notice will be provided at least 24 hours in advance of the original site visit meeting through a "Notice" being posted on the Town's electronic bidding system. The non-mandatory site visit provides the opportunity for prospective bidders to satisfy themselves by personal visitation and examination of the site existing conditions which may be encountered on or adjacent to the site, including without limitation, all underground/overhead utilities locations, surface & sub-surface conditions, existing structures on or adjacent to the sites, laydown areas, access routes and other conditions which affect performance of the Deliverables. Attendees will need to bring the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes steel toe boots, hard hat, safety vest, and safety glasses to tour the site.
