**As of September 03, 2025, the project was awarded to Garcon Construction, Inc., with an awarded amount of $529,406.26.** Bids shall be marked: BID FOR: 2025 Citywide Sidewalk and ADA Ramp Replacement Project, Project No. 400033. The City Council of the City of Redlands reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any irregularity, and award contracts in the best interests of the City. xBid security, in the form of a cashier s check, a certified check made to the order of the City of Redlands, or a Bidder's Bond, and in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid is required to be submitted with each Bid. Said check or bond shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into contract with the City of Redlands if awarded the work, and will be declared forfeited if the selected bidder fails to enter into contract within fourteen (14) days after Notice of Award. The Bidder to whom award is made will be required to furnish a Labor and Material Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond each in an amount of 100% of the Bid amount, from surety company satisfactory to the City of Redlands. All terms and conditions contained in the Contract Documents including the Instructions to Bidders shall become a part of the Contract. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the time of Bid Opening. GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK A. Work In This Contract: Work in this Contract includes all labor, materials and equipment necessary for construction of 2025 Citywide Sidewalk and ADA Ramp Replacement Project as noted on the Contract Drawings and all other Contract Documents and is summarized as follows: 1. The Work shall consist of furnishing construction materials, mobilization, traffic and pedestrian control, erosion control, sawcutting, removal and replacement of varying thickness of PCC pavement (sidewalk, driveways, and ADA curb ramps), clearing and grubbing, root cutting, root grinding, grading, irrigation and curb repair, compaction, dust control, information signs, and survey monumentpreservation as required. Sidewalk shall match existing width and appearance of adjacent areas, including score lines and finish and restore all areas to preconstruction conditions. 2. The Contractor shall, upon completion of the sidewalk and ADA curb ramp replacement and appurtenances required herein, initially operate all components of the Contract Work furnished and installed by the Contractor, and make any additional adjustments, corrections, repairs, replacements, and reconstructions necessary to provide the City with complete sidewalk and ADA curb ramps and appurtenances, including restoring all areas to pre-construction conditions.
