Church Avenue Reconstruction - A CDBG Project. Questions concerning this invitation for bids must be submitted in writing to: Jamie Luchini, Director of Public Works, P.O. Box 88, Whitinsville, MA 01588-0088 before 2:00 pm., on July 17, 2025. Questions may be mailed to this address, delivered to the Department of Public Works at 11 Fletcher Street, faxed to (508)-234-0807, or emailed to jluchini@northbridgemass.org. Written responses will be e-mailed or faxed to all bidders on record as having received the IFB. Church Avenue Reconstruction Project (Phase 1) will replace +-1,000 feet of water mains and +-2,000 feet of sewer mains. The project includes excavation, removal & disposal of existing water pipes & sewer mains, installation of new ductile iron waterlines, new gate valves,four new hydrants with connections,&new PVCsewer mains. Trenches will be backfilled, compacted & paved over with temporary paving; work is estimated to cost $1,000,000.
