Site work for a civil project in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

SCOPE OF WORK: The project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to upgrade Sewage Pump Station No. 0442, including, but not limited to, providing uninterrupted bypass pumping capabilities for the existing pump station flow during all construction times and until the new pump station is completely operational and accepted by the Owner; cutting, filling with flowable fill, capping and abandoning in place the existing 4-inch asbestos-cement (AC) force main; demolition and removal of the existing dry/wet well pump station structure. The project scope also includes the furnishing all labor, material and equipment including, but not limited to, furnishing and installing 111 linear feet of 8" diameter PVC gravity sanitary sewer pipe and two 4' diameter sanitary sewer manholes and the connection to two existing sanitary sewer manholes. The scope of this Work may require the removal of small portions of asbestos and/or lead and/or other hazardous materials from the project site, including but not limited to asbestos-cement (AC) pipes. The removal, transport and disposal of hazardous materials shall be performed by Florida Licensed Asbestos Abatement Contractor (FLAAC) and trained personnel wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). SBE- Service: 1.7% Additional opportunities are available through Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) which enables low-income families to reduce their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient. Funds are used to improve the energy performance of dwellings by families in need, using the most advanced technologies and testing procedures available in the housing industry. Measures to make homes more energy efficient include: replacement or installation of key components, installation of energy recovery ventilation systems including bathroom and kitchen exhaust fans and installation of whole mechanical exhaust systems to provide better indoor air quality, install attic insulation, install window solar films, repair or replace inefficient cooling units, repair or replace water heaters and address air infiltration with weather stripping, caulking thresholds, minor wall repairs, ceiling and floors, windows and doors. The original Bid Security (in the form of a bid bond or cashier's check) MUST be delivered to WASD, at the address above, BEFORE the bids are opened. Failure to deliver the original will result in the bid submission being rejected as non-responsive. Invited bidders should have received an Invitation to Bid with an Invitation Key linked to the Invitee's email address. Upon request, an invitation can be sent to multiple email addresses within the same company. However, if multiple bids are submitted by the same company, ALL submitted bids will be rejected.
