Site work and asbestos abatement for a playground / park / athletic field in Wantagh, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for asbestos abatement for a playground / park / athletic field.
Asbestos Abatement at Jones Beach Park Police Barracks. Work will consist of: 2nd Floor - Remove a Wall (10 ft in height x 6 ft in width x 2 ft in depth) to access the pipe that needs to be abated from asbestos. Pipe that needs to be abated is 15 feet in length. It is the responsibility of the abatement contractor to hire the 3rd party air monitoring company for all areas of work. Upon contractor being awarded for project, you will have 72 hours to notify DOL for work to be done, Please send all paperwork for us to approve. 3rd party air monitoring company will be the responsibility/& hired by the abatement contractor. Location- Jones Beach Park Police Barracks 355 NY-909E, Wantagh, NY 11793 Work will need to be finished within 10 days after starting on site. Vendor questions will be accepted by email up to 3:00pm on June 27, 2025. Any submissions received after this date and time will not be considered.
