The City of Bakersfield (City) desires to enter into an agreement with two or more qualified maintenance and repair contractors for providing equipment maintenance and repair services on an "on-call" basis for City facilities. The term of agreement shall be in place for one year (1 year) from the effective date of the Agreement and may be extended in accordance with the provisions of this RFQ for four additional one-year periods upon City of Bakersfield approval. Projects will be maintenance and repair work within a variety of service areas. The various contract services sought are elevator inspection/maintenance/repair contractor, locksmith services, asbestos/mold/lead abatement and asbestos/mold/lead sampling & testing. Contractors (Proposer's) can submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for a single service area or multiple service areas. Please carefully review the scope of work descriptions for each service area and when submitting the SOQ, make clear which service area(s) are being applied for. Contractors shall be responsible for providing all materials, labor, equipment, transportation, permits, and services necessary to complete the tasks described within, but not limited to, the service area scope of work description.
