he Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission issues this Notice of Intent to Advertise as a means of providing notice in advance of posting Request for Qualifications for Construction Manager at Risk and Design-Build services for the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia's FY2026 Capital Projects listed below. Interested firms may respond to any, or all, of the solicitations as they are posted. However, in keeping with the (BOR's) practice of spreading the work equitably among qualified contractors, award of contracts associated with this cohort of projects will likely be limited to no more than one project on the list being awarded to any given firm. To enable interested parties to anticipate the timing of the advertisement of these opportunities and to target their responses to those projects that appear to align well with the firm's capabilities and project experience, a brief project description, Stated Construction Cost Limitation (SCL), and anticipated advertisement date for each project is provided below. The Request for Qualifications solicitations will be advertised on the Georgia Procurement Registry generally as indicated below. Interested parties are encouraged to plan responses accordingly. July 10th , 2025 2:00 PM Deadline for written questions The project scope will include multiple components: a) Demolition of approximately 100,000 GSF of east campus buildings: i. Approximately 62,000 GSF of the Wiley gymnasium / pool complex (excluding the ~10,000 GSF historic 1936 Wilcox Gym) ii. The approximately 28,000 GSF two-story King Frazier administrative / retail building b) New construction of 55,000 GSF replacement space: i. 20,000 GSF of student support and engagement space (as a complementary addition to the existing King Frazier Annex) ii. 35,000 GSF student fitness and wellness space on west campus adjacent to Tiger Arena (programmed to complement and leverage existing Tiger Arena support spaces and infrastructure) c) Targeted renovation and systems renewal in 102,000 GSF: i. 18,000 GSF in King Frazier Annex dining and food service space ii. 84K GSF in Tiger Arena, limited to chiller/boiler infrastructure (with additional capacity to serve the adjacent new student fitness and wellness space) and gym floor replacement. d) Remediation and enhancement of demolition sites, and environmental stabilization and enhancement of a portion of the saltwater marsh edge bordering the historic campus core adjacent to the Wilcox Gym and King Frazier annex.
