Reference Number 0000390729 Carpet Replacement - Newburgh Village located at 11999 Newburgh Road, Livonia, MI 48150 according to the scope of work and specifications herein. Question Deadline 07/08/2025 at 3:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online No, Questions regarding the Request for Bid must be submitted in writing to the attention of Gus Kandah, Purchasing Manager, via email at: gkandah@livonia.gov. will be responded to in writing in the form of an addendum which will be posted on the online. No phone calls will be accepted. All inquiries regarding this solicitation shall be submitted to the Purchasing Manager. The City reserves the right to reject in whole or in part any and all bids received, to waive any irregularities or informalities or both as it is determined to be in the best interests of the City of Livonia to do so. The successful vendor shall provide two (2) sets of manuals for proper care, cleaning and maintenance of all components and hardware installed All materials offered in response to the bid shall be new. All carpet offered shall meet or exceed the requirements specified herein. The City shall be the final decision maker as to whether products/installation meets requirements All bidders will be responsible for accurate measurements of the senior apartments. NEWBURGH VILLAGE has (39) senior apartments; 12. (2) bedroom, and 27, (1) bedroom apartments. Two bedroom apartments are approximately 785 square footage. One bedroom units is approximately 645 square footage. The awarded contractor shall provide samples of the carpet prior to installation. The City shall approve the carpet samples prior to installation. The successful contractor shall ensure/understand that: 1. The firm will work closely with City staff during all phases of the work. 2. All licenses required for discipline by the State of Michigan shall be maintained during the project. 3. The firm will provide a single point of contact for the duration of the project. 4. The firm will not proceed with the project without a written noticefrom the City of Livonia Housing Commission. 5. The firm will ensure timely completion of plans and specifications. 6. All required insurances are to be maintained by the firm during the contract. The firm will provide weekly written project status reports to the City
