Projects under active construction in the region include, but are not limited to: Metropolitan Council - Lake Elmo West Connection Project: MCES is under active construction to extend a 21-inch gravity sanitary sewer system to the discharge location and tie-in point of the forcemain included in the I-94 Lift Station Forcemain Replacement project. The MCES project is temporarily bypassing Lake Elmo's existing 8-inch forcemain west of Inwood Avenue to accommodate the gravity pipe installation. Washington County - CSAH 13 (Inwood Avenue) Rehabilitation Project: Washington County will be improving CSAH 13 (Inwood Avenue) in 2025 from 10th Street to Stillwater Boulevard. Northbound traffic will be closed for the duration of the project. Roers Development: A private development is scheduled to be under construction in 2025 along Hudson Boulevard west of Julia Avenue. The scope of improvements includes reconstruction of the north half of Hudson Boulevard. Traffic impacts will need to be coordinated if the projects overlap. City of Lake Elmo - I-94 Lift Station Pump Replacement: The City of Lake Elmo intends to direct purchase three new pumps for the I-94 Lift Station to accommodate new conditions created with an upsized forcemain and new discharge location.
