Site work for a transportation facility in Nucla, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.

The work involved will include the following: Schedule I (Federal) Install New AWOS III-P/T Major work items include removal of existing and installation of a new Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS). Bid Conditions: The bidder is required to provide all information as required within the Contract Documents. The bidder is required to bid on all items of every schedule or as otherwise detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids may be held by Montrose County for a period not to exceed one hundred twenty (120) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. The right is reserved, as Montrose County may require, to reject, any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received. All questions regarding the bid are to be directed to Keith O'Connor with Corgan, Keith.OConnor@corgan.com. All questions must be in writing and submitted by 1:30 pm local time June 25, 2025. Bid Bond: Guarantee will be required with each bid as a certified check on a solvent bank or a bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Montrose County. Non-Segregated Facilities: The successful bidder will be required to submit a certification of Non-segregated Facilities and to notify prospective subcontractors of the requirement for such a certification where the subcontract exceeds $10,000. . Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Requirement: The contractor shall carry out applicable requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 in the award and administration of this DOT-assisted contracts. In accordance with 49 CFR Part 26.45, the sponsor has established an overall contract goal of 1.6 percent participation for small business concerns owned and controlled by certified socially and economically disadvantaged enterprise (DBE). The bidder shall make and document good faith efforts, as defined in Appendix A of 49 CFR Part 26, to meet this established goal. The bidder shall complete the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise forms regardless of the DBE goal if a DBE firm is to be utilized on the project. Davis-Bacon Requirements: The Contractor is required to comply with wage and labor provisions and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the current schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor.
