Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Bellingham, Washington. Working plans call for the construction of a 70,000-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
“The owner has determined a prequalified list of general contractors." Bellingham Public Schools (BPS) requests qualifications from General Contractors for the construction of the new Roosevelt Elementary School Rebuild Project, using the procedures permitted under RCW 39.10, as amended, for selected projects for public works contracting in lieu of sealed bids. The project consists of a new educational facility and all associated onsite improvements including parking and utilities. This project is planned to be a net zero ready facility upon completion. The construction budget is approximately $60 million. Design development drawings are ongoing and 100% CD's will continue to be developed with the input of the selected GC/CM. Construction is currently anticipated between June 2027 to August 2028.
