The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiations for the procurement of On Call Airport Engineering Services for Colfax County. Colfax County resides the Manager's office at 230 N. 3rd St., Raton, New Mexico. The County is looking for Airport Engineering Services for the County Airport located in Angel Fire NM. With continuing construction and capital improvements on County Airport Infrastructure Engineering Services are imperative to continue to move forward with progress. The Colfax County Airport at Angel Fire is located within Colfax County, one mile north of the Village of Angel Fire. The Airport is a general aviation facility and not a Certificated FAR Part 139 airport. There is no control tower. The contract issued to the successful consultant is subject to the provisions of Executive Order 11246 (Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity) and to the provisions of the Department of Transportation Regulation 49 CRF Part 26 (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation). DBE firms are encouraged to participate. An agreement for the period not to exceed one (1) year, with an option of renewal not to exceed 3 (three), one (1) year periods, starting with the effective date of the Agreement.
