Site work for a water / sewer project in Port Angeles, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Install 1,550 linear feet of new 8-inch pipeline at the end of West 18th Street to improve fire flow to the West 18th Street Industrial Area that includes the landfill, the transfer station, compost facility, and the Port Angeles Water Treatment Plant (PAWTP). This improvement eliminates dead end piping from the PAWTP as well as from West 18th Street. As of July 7, 2025, this project is included in the City of Port Angeles' Fiscal Year 2025-2030 Capital Facilities Plan. It is currently in the design phase. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. Funding is allotted for FY 2025 and 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
