Demolition & Removal a. Disconnect and make safe existing boiler components (where applicable for replacement projects) 2. Boiler Installation & Placement a. Set and secure existing Reillo M#AR800 boiler on existing equipment pad 3. Piping & Valve Installation a. Tie-in to existing 6" flanges b. Add tees and install 4" HWS & HWR butterfly valves with blind flanges for future use. c. Install new 2.5" HWS & HWR piping to new tees d. Connect customer-supplied 2.5" Y-strainer on HWR line and B&G triple duty valve on HWS e. Install new 2.5" butterfly valve on HWR piping f. Install one temperature well on HWS & HWR for future use g. Measure and fabricate new hot water piping to the boiler h. Install all necessary water pipe, fittings, and valves to connect the boiler to existing supply piping i. Install new 6" automatic isolation valve j. Install (2) 8"x8"4" tees with blind flanges for a future indirect water heater tank k. Install a new condensate neutralizer kit l. Install customer provided circulation pump, condensate neutralizer, and 3-way valve 4. Insulation a. Insulate new HWS & HWR piping with fiberglass insulation b. Install new insulation on boiler connections 5. Gas & Venting a. Tie-in to existing gas line b. Install a new 2lb gas regulator c. Reconnect natural gas piping to the boiler d. Install all necessary gas pipe, fittings, and valves to connect the new unit to existing gas supply piping e. Install new venting (e.g., 6" schedule 40 CPVC for exhaust and 6" schedule 40 PVC for combustion air intake) f. Install all necessary flue venting and fittings to properly vent the boiler through the existing flue chase g. Rework existing water heater gas vent to gain clearance for boiler venting h. Install new exhaust and intake venting, including core drilling new holes i. Install a new roof curb and flash the new curb to the existing built-up roof, or penetrate through the existing curb cap and fabricate/install a replacement weather-tight cap 6. Electrical a. Provide all electrical connections with a new disconnect b. Reconnect the boiler to the existing line voltage supply 7. Startup & Testing a.
