Renovation of a medical facility in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for the selection of a General Contractor for the F614-00 UBC Hospital (UBCH) Detwiller Salus House Renovation project. Renovation in the UBCH Detwiller Pavilion Salus House unit including Nursing Station upgrade with other Alternate Prices work: Comfort room (Alternate Price No.5), Accessible washroom conversion (Alternate Price No.7) and Replacement of door hardware to anti-ligature and/or addition of card readers (Alternate Price No.6), along with Alternate Pricing No.1-4 (refer to Alternate Price summary table below). The proposed phasing of the project - Phase 1- the Medication room, the Comfort room, and the Conference room. It is expected for the contractor to mobilize and start construction work on the Comfort and Conference room a week after Contract award. Phase 2 - Nursing station, Accessible washroom and Door hardware replacement. However, the sequencing of the phases and hoarding plan may need to be revised once the contract is awarded as the intent is for the project to be phased in a format that accommodates Clinical constraints and minimizes operational impact. No.01 Remove existing interior window between Medication and Nursing Station and infill opening with wall assembly No.02 Replace existing millwork wall cabinet in Comfort Room with new No.03 Provide door operator and associated controls to Accessible Washroom door No.04 Repair existing Conference room walls No.05 Renovation work associated with Comfort Room No.06 Renovation work associated with new anti-ligature door hardware replacement work (demo keynote 10, 11, and 13) No.07 Renovation work associated with Accessible washroom 1972A and Storage room 1970A Documents can be obtained from https://fraserhealth.bidsandtenders.ca/
