Scope: provide professional hazardous materials abatement monitoring and inspection services for the Four ADA School Upgrade Locations for the entire duration of the project per attached specifications and requirements. 2 DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Work of this Section shall include, but not be limited to, furnishing and installation of the following: 1. The General Contractor shall retain the services of a Massachusetts licensed asbestos abatement contractor to perform all related work. 2. All labor, material, equipment, and services specified herein or reasonably necessary for anc incidental to removal and legal disposal of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM). 3. The complete isolation of the Work area for the duration of the Work so as to prevent asbestos contaminated dust or debris from passing beyond the isolated areas, removal, and disposal of ACM. 4. A lump sum bid for all required services included in Part 3. Unit prices included at the end c this Section shall be part of this bid subiect to addition and deductions to the lump sum bid. C. Submit all required licenses and certification required under MGLC. 149 S 44D and 453 CMR 6.00. The name and address of the bidder must appear in the upper left hand corner of the envelope. Time reserved for award is ninety days The City of Worcester reserves the right to reject any and all bids, wholly or in part, and to make awards in a manner deemed in the best interest of the City) Any prospective bidder requesting a change in or interpretation of existing specifications of terms and conditions must do so within five (5) days (Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays excluded) BEFORE scheduled bid opening date.
