Demolition, site work and addition to a municipal facility in Lewisburg, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the addition of a 2,583-square-foot municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and for the demolition of a municipal facility.
The scope of work involves a 2,583 sf office addition to an existing building. Work includes related mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and site work. The building construction includes brick-faced concrete masonry units, light-gauge metal stud interior framing, light gauge metal trusses, and metal roofing. Interior finishes are typical commercial grade. Site work includes, but is not necessarily limited to sidewalk, parking, grading, stormwater management, and landscaping. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total construction cost. A certified check payable to the Owner will be considered an acceptable alternate to the Bid Bond. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Document. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. All bidders must be licensed contractors as required by the Contractor Licensing Act of 1976 (T.C.A. Title 62, ch. 6). Only bids in a sealed envelope with the information provided in the Instructions to Bidders will be accepted. It is the policy of the City of Lewisburg and LES to ensure compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; 49 CFR, Part 21. It is the policy of the City of Lewisburg and LES to maintain a drug-free workplace. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
