The California Prison Industry Authority (CALPIA) is soliciting for cold box and water chiller preventative maintenance and repair services located at the California State Prison Corcoran in Corcoran, California. Any agreement resulting from this solicitation shall be of no force or effect until it is signed by both parties and approved by CALPIA. The Contractor is not to begin work until a contract has been made, all approvals have been obtained, and the contract has been fully executed. Should work begin before all approvals are obtained, services shall be considered voluntary. The CALPIA anticipates that the proposed contract term will be for a period of two (2) years with the option to extend for an additional one (1) year. CALPIA may consider other factors deemed necessary to ensure that best value is achieved.In the interest of achieving best value, CALPIA does not grant Small Business, Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE), Target Area Contract Preference Act (TACPA), Local Agency Military Base Recovery Act (LAMBRA), or Enterprise Zone Act (EZA) preferences in evaluating bids.
