The purpose of this Agreement is to set forth the terms and conditions under which Contractor is to provide trash services. Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) all labor, trash bins, equipment, travel, and incidentals, and to pay all associated costs, fees (including disposal fees), and taxes, necessary to provide on call, asneeded trash collection, hauling, and disposal services. This Agreement will commence on November 1, 2025 (estimate), or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement shall expire on October 31, 2027 (estimate). The services shall be provided during 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except State holidays. The parties may amend this Agreement as permitted by law. As required by Executive Order S-02-06, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is committed to meeting the State's twenty-five percent (25%) Small Business (SB) participation goal. Questions regarding this IFB must be submitted by June 26, 2025. Bidders must submit their questions via e-mail to christian.miller@dot.ca.gov. Proposed Award Date (estimate) July 10, 2025 Caltrans reserves the right to reject all bids for reasonable cause.
