The Municipal District of Wainwright No. 61 is accepting tenders from interested Companies for the 2025 Bridge File Repairs and Other Work. Bridge File 2285 Rge Rd 21 over Ribtone Creek NW 1-44-2 W4M BF 2285 is a 4.92 m diameter, 54.9 m long structural plate corrugated steel pipe (SPCSP) culvert built in 1983, located on Range Road (RR) 21 (NW-1-44-2-W4M). The existing culvert has severely deteriorated, with longitudinal seams cracking near the inlet and outlet and sidewalls deflecting by up to 8%. The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: Excavation to expose damaged sections of the culvert. Surface preparation of the culvert, including cleaning and removal of corrosion. Welding of reinforcing rebars across identified seam cracks. Application of corrosion protection measures post-welding. Temporary Bracing as needed to complete the work Debris and silt removal in the culvert Removal and reinstallation of the riprap as need to install the concrete end treatment. Removal of steel wire fence as needed to complete the work Concrete End Treatment Care of Water Total Suspended Solids Testing Fish Capture and Release Backfilling and site restoration Other work as shown on the drawings or indicated in the unit price schedule.
