The City of Whelen Springs,Arkansas is applying for anArkansas Community and Economic DevelopmentProgram(ACEDP) grant from the ArkansasEconomic Development Commission to make improvements to thewaterand/or wastewater system.The City of Whelen Springs,Arkansas is interested in acquiring the services of an engineeringfirm or individual toprovide services for the above- referencedproject contingent upon award ofthe project.Procedures for selection of anindividual/firm will be in accordance with ACEDP procurementrequirements. All responses willbe evaluated interms of specialized experience and technicalcompetence; performance; capacity and capability ofthefirm/individual to perform work;and proximity to and familiarity with the project area. Negotiations will begin with the respondent obtaining the highest total score inthe evaluation process. Whelen Springs reserves the rightto reject Statements of Qualifications and to waive any or all formalities deemed to be in the bestinterest of the City.
