The scope of services includes, but is not limited to, routine mowing, tree trimming, weed control, flower bed maintenance, and overall landscaping of non-athletic grounds. Additional campuses may be added in the future based on the needs of the district and upon mutual agreement both parties. This contract will be effective on or around August 1, 2025 through July 31, 2026 and may be renewed for four (4) additional years in one (1) year increments, providing that both parties are in agreement. KISD, may at its sole option, extend this bid for an additional sixty (60) days from the date of expiration, under the same pricing and terms and conditions if it is determined by the district that additional time is required to avoid a contract lapse. Contract is also dependent upon availability of funding and the needs of the district. The District, through its duly authorized constituted officials, reserves the right to accept any offer in its entirety or in part, any offer deemed most advantageous to the Killeen Independent School District and to waive any formalities in bidding. Contact between vendors and District personnel during the proposal process or evaluation process is prohibited. Any attempt by vendors during the proposal process to contact District personnel may result in disqualification. All communication shall go through the Purchasing Office during this process. All questions received and the corresponding answers will be distributed to all bidders via the electronic bid system. No verbal responses will be provided. The deadline for questions about this proposal is stated in the Event Details and the District will not respond to questions after this time and date.
