Building components may contain lead-based paint which may cause a health problem for residents. This includes deteriorating or deteriorated lead-based paint, defined in MDH rules (Chapter 4761.0200 Subpart 8) as paint that has become or is becoming chipped peeled, or otherwise separated from its substrate or that is attached to a damaged substrate and areas containing intact lead-based paint deemed likely to become a hazard in the future. All testing for leadbased paint was performed by MHD staff licensed through the State of Minnesota. This project may include requests for bids on multiple dwelling units along with specialty trades.
