Summary of Work: The University of MS wishes to convert an existing student lounge area on the first floor into a general-purpose Bioengineering lab consisting of one open lab area with center lab workstations surrounded by lab casework cabinetry and storage units. Space for lab equipment and an emergency shower is also located within space. The scope of work as described in the Bid Documentsincludesselective demolition with general Finish Upgrades consisting of LVT flooring and new / repaired wood base throughout. Painting of all partitions and gyp board ceilings / furrdowns is required along with lay-in ceiling replacement. New lab case work with two sinks is also required. MEP work is also required including a new exhaust hood and emergency generator.
