The proposed playground is in the existing older kids' playground area at Avent Park. The approximate area within the fence is 7,652 square feet. There is existing playground made of natural products. The proposed design may remove and replace, repair and supplement, or any combination to achieve a safe, long-lasting result. The Oxford Park Commission Board would prefer for the playground material to be made of wood or other natural products. The selected contractor will be responsible for obtaining a survey and geotechnical report, if necessary. The selected contractor is also responsible for a written product list, maintenance plan, and AutoCAD based as-built layout. The proposed area for design can be viewed in Exhibit A. The budget for this project shall not exceed $500,000.00. Any proposals with a price over the budgeted amount shall be rejected.
