Description Scope of Services I. General Specifications: A. Standards: Sodium chloride shall be mined rock salt containing not less than 97% Sodium Chloride. For sodium chloride the sieve analysis on U.S. standard sieves shall comply with the following requirements. . 100% shall pass 3/8" sieve . 80-100% shall pass 1/4 sieve . 5-50% shall pass No.8 sieve . 0-10% shall pass No.30 sieve B. Quantities: No guaranteed quantities are given. Prices bid shall be for requirements - deliveries as ordered from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026. The contract will be for actual quantities ordered during this period. C. Pricing: Prices quoted shall be firm for one year and shall be: Price per ton, F.O.B., County truck at quarry for sodium chloride Price per ton, F.O.B., delivery to Batavia, NY D. Deliveries: - All deliveries will be as indicated on bid sheet for sodium chloride. - Deliveries shall be maintained on a "call-in-as-needed" basis. - Delivery shall be made within 3-5 working days from order placement - Genesee County shall have priority for delivery in the event of disruptions.
