Complete Request for Bids - Radon Mitigation System Design attached Requests for information are directed to Paul Maier at Stohl Environmental. a. pmaier@stohlenvironmental.com b. 585-409-1666 The residence, addressed 7 Cedar Street in Batavia, New York is a two-story wood frame structure with a full basement. The building is 684 square feet. Radon testing conducted January 23, 2025 through January 27, 2025 revealed radon level of 4.3 pCi/L. 2. The exterior siding of the building is asbestos-containing cementitious panels. Mounting pipe supports to the exterior of the building with mechanical fasteners will require coordination with a licensed asbestos abatement contractor. Qualified bidders are invited to submit proposals for the design and installation of a residential radon mitigation system. The scope includes but is not limited to: a. Conducting pre-installation assessments. b. Designing a mitigation system compliant with EPA and state guidelines. c. Installing necessary piping, fans, and monitoring components. d. Performing post-installation testing to verify effectiveness. e. Providing documentation and warranty details. f. Post-installation testing shall be performed by Stohl Environmental.
