Site work and asbestos abatement for a residential development in Batavia, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a residential development.

Scope of work to be contracted directly with City of Batavia Citywide Housing Rehabilitation Program: 1. Contractor is to read the Lead-based Paint Risk Assessment Report prepared by Stohl Environmental dated March 18, 2025 2. Contractor shall provide interim control paint film stabilization of the following conditions noted in the report: a. Condition 1: Basement Stair Components (Stringers/Treads/Landing)Dining Room C-Side Door Casing b. Condition 2: Basement D-Side Door/Casing, Trim Moldings and Support Column c. Condition 3: Front Foyer A-Side Door Stop/Exterior/Threshold d. Condition 5: Rear Foyer Components (Baseboards and A-Side Door Casing) e. Condition 6: Bathroom 1 B-Side Door f. Condition 7: Stairwell Components (Treads/Stringers/Risers/Landing and D-Side Door Stop) Condition 7: Hallway Components (Doors/Casings) g. Condition 8: Hallway Components (Doors/Casings) h. Condition 9: Bedroom 1 Components (C-Side Door Jamb/Stop and Window Sills/Casings) i. Condition 11: Bedroom 2 Components (C-Side Door Jamb/Stop and Closet Door Jamb/Stop/Door/Closet Trim Moldings) j. Condition 14: Bedroom 3 Components (A-Side Door Casing/Stop and C-Side Closet Door Casing/Stop) k. Condition 17: Attic Components (Stair Treads Wood Stairwell Walls) l. Condition 18: Original Remaining Window Unit Components (Troughs, Jambs, Parting Beads and Interior/Exterior Sashes) including Basement Units m. Condition 19: Exterior Components (Front Porch Ceiling/Header Beams/Soffits/Columns/Black Trim, Window Sills/Casings, Basement Window Sills/Casings, Siding/Trim, Soffits/Fascias and Door Casings) C. Paint film stabilization procedures 1. Remove all loose surface material through wet scraping or wet sanding 2. Wash with trisodium phosphate or equivalent detergents 3. Application of an appropriate primer 4. Application of topcoat paint from the same manufacturer 5. HEPA-vacuum the entire work area 6. Clearance dust samples to be collected by third party contracted with the City of Batavia Citywide House Rehabilitation Program upon completion of work D. Lead-safety of workers 1. Persons carrying out lead reduction activities must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to safety in the workplace. E. LEAD-HEPA VAC/PHOSPHATE WIPE 1. HEPA vacuum all visible surfaces throughout house. Using a solution of high phosphate detergent and water, wash ALL VISIBLE SURFACES including window glass, fixtures, and equipment.
