The scope of work associated with this RFQ includes, but is not limited to, the supply of all materials, labour, and installation associated with the Stage 1 Enabling Works Civil scope of work, comprising relocation of existing site services (water, sanitary, and storm services). Some of the services are at depths of approximately +/-4m below grade and cross beneath buried service tunnels. The reinforcement and waterproofing of the buried tunnels will form part of a separate RFQ. Natural gas services will be relocated concurrently by Enbridge and will necessitate time and space separations for the completion of the work. A high-level overview of the work to be performed is as follows - note the scope and quantities below are subject to change, pending the issuance of the RFP: Watermain Pipes, some of which are owned by the City of Ottawa and will necessitate the successful proponent to coordinate directly with the City, as may be necessary to undertake the scope. - Length: Approximately 500m - Size: 300mm Diameter - Material: PVC - New valves and valve boxes for Watermain - Protection of the existing 200mm waterline - New 9.5mm thick steel sleeve, where watermain pipes traverse underneath buried tunnels. - Depth Range from 2-4m Storm Pipes - Length: 200m - Size: 1200mm & 1500mm - Material: Concrete - Manhole MHST-003, MHST-002, MHST-001 (size range approximately 3000 mm) - Catch basin: 5x (remove and replace) remove and reinstall catch basins and associated PVC Lead - Depth Range from 5-6m Sanitary - Length: 170m - Size: 375mm Diameter & 450mm Diameter - Material: PVC - Manholes: Six (6) ranging in size from 1200mm and 2400mm Dia - Depth range from 5-6 Remove 300mm existing watermain - ~280m Remove 1050mm-1350mm existing Storm pipe - ~200m Remove 350mm-450mm existing Sanitary pipe - ~150m 350-675mm DIA Question Acceptance Deadline: 2025/07/09 2:00:00 PM EDT Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com * The project value listed reflects the package estimate.
