Site work and paving for a civil project in Colts Neck, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

**As of July 8,2025, the project was awarded to Fernandes Construction Inc, with an awarded amount of $404,322.46.** The scope of Work contemplated for the abovenamed Project includes roadway milling and paving of Montrose Road from Monmouth County Route 537 to Round Hill Court to include milling; concrete curb; storm drainage improvements; driveway reconstruction; installation of HMA base course and surface course; SESC; roadway striping; and yard restoration as well as all other Work of any type or description necessary for contemplation of the Project, whether or not specifically described in these Contract Documents. All Work on this Contract shall be completed within 75 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. The provided Bid Packet must be completed in the manner designated in the Contract Documents, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the name of the Project on the outside and must be addressed to Trina Lindsey, RMC, Township Clerk, Colts Neck Township. Also, Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of "Colts Neck Township" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required. The award of the Contract for this Project will not be made unless and until the necessary funds have been provided by Colts Neck Township in a lawful manner. Please be advised that this Project is being funded through the New Jersey Department of Transportation in part and the balance provided by Colts Neck Township. No oral interpretation and/or clarification ofthe meaning ofthe Contract Documents will be made to any Bidder. Any interpretation or clarification requested by a Bidder shall be in writing, addressed to the Engineer. Colts Neck Township intends to award this Project to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder in accordance with applicable law. Colts Neck Township reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law. An award will be made, or Bid Packets will be rejected within sixty (60) Calendar Days after the opening of the Bid Packets.
