Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Chestertown, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The County Commissioners of Kent County, Maryland, a body corporate and politic and a political subdivision of the State of Maryland (the "County") is requesting proposals from qualified land developers to purchase and fully develop a County-owned property. The successful proposer will assume ownership of the property and be responsible for completing the planned residential development, as further outlined in Section C, in accordance with Chapter 49 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Kent County (CPLL) All questions and inquiries regarding the terms of this RFP, which must be submitted in writing or via email, should be directed to Daniel F. Mattson, P.E., C.F.M., C.M.E., Director of Public Works, at DMattson@KentGov.org, no later than 12:00 p.m. on June 18th, 2025.
