The City of Mississauga ("the City") is seeking to prequalify experienced equipment suppliers for the next three (3) year period, for the design, supply and installation of equipment for playgrounds, outdoor fitness areas and adventure playgrounds in various City parks. The City intends to prequalify under three (3) separate Categories, which have been split on this platform to allow for each Category to be evaluated on line. Category A: Prefabricated Playground Equipment Systems - These manufactured play systems are designed for children ages 18 months to 12 years old. They are highly durable, made up of pre-engineered modular components that can be assembled in various configurations. Category B: Prefabricated Outdoor Fitness Equipment Systems - These manufactured outdoor fitness equipment systems are designed for adults, ages 13 years and older. They are pre-engineered, highly durable, and designed with no moving parts. Category C: Custom Adventure Playground Design, Fabrication and Installation Services - These custom designed and fabricated play equipment systems, are designed for children ages 18 months to 12 years and potentially 12-17 years. The equipment may utilize various materials including eco-friendly materials such as steel, wood and recyclable alternatives. Respondents may submit a bid for, and may be prequalified for, one (1) or more Categories.
