Stormwater Underdrain Replacement Project - CDD5 Reference Number 0000390997 The Lakewood Ranch Inter-District Authority, representing Community Development District 5, is seeking quotes from qualified individuals and companies to provide the work outlined in this request for the Stormwater Underdrain Replacement Project. If required, Proposers Bidders may obtain further clarification or explanation, exclusive of the drawings, specifications, or the Scope of Services, by contacting Jonathan Styles, Sr. The Lakewood Ranch Inter-District Authority, representing Community Development District 2, is seeking quotes from qualified individuals and companies to provide the work covered within this request for the Stormwater Underdrain Replacement Project . The scope of work will be performed within Gleneagles - Desert Inn Way and US Open Loop. The District intends to award the project to one (1) lowest responsive and responsible quoter. Quotes must be inclusive of all items to be considered responsive to the solicitation. This is a one-time project. However, the District reserves the right to award this Quick Quote for additional work if deemed necessary. The successful quoter shall perform the job completely, in place, and ready for continuous service. They shall also include any repairs, replacements, or restorations required due to damage caused by the construction before acceptance by the District. SCOPE OF WORK The location and length of the underdrain to be repaired are outlined in the street-specific Quote Schedules. The work generally involves removing the existing underdrains located within the utility easement and replacing based on the detail attached to these documents. Underdrain lengths shall include all fittings, connections to existing inlets, cleanouts and lids installed at intervals of every 100 feet. The work shall consist of providing all labor, material, tools, and equipment for the restoration of the ground, furnishing and placing underdrain, base in all areas where these are removed or damaged. At the close of work every day, the site shall be cleaned of all debris and left in a condition safe for use by traffic, pedestrians, and others during non-construction activities. Removal of trees and landscaping (plants, mulch, or other) other than grass should be avoided whenever possible. The Contractor must clearly identify in a submittal to the District which landscaping they plan to remove before starting the work. They must not proceed with this removal until the District has approved it. 1. Underdrain: All materials and installation must comply with FDOT Standard Specifications Section 440 & 948. 2.
