Project Description: The new water purification facility will be a large-scale water treatment project to directly purify treated wastewater and redistribute it as potable reuse drinking water. The facility will receive treated wastewater directly from the Roberto R. Bustamante WWTP and purify it using advanced treatment technologies such as microfiltration/ultrafiltration, nanofiltration/reverse osmosis, UV advanced oxidation, granular activated carbon, stabilization, & chlorine disinfection, before distributing it for urban water use. The main process building will also include designated areas for administration, research, and education. DBE, SLBE, MBE and WBE firms are encouraged to submit bids in response to this invitation. PCL/Sundt JV intends to break up the requirements into smaller portions to encourage maximum participation, arrange time frames for contracts & establish delivery schedules, where the requirements permit, in a way that encourages & facilitates participation of DBE, SLBE, MBE and WBE firms.
